The Pine Garden run by The Bay Trust.
The Pines Garden is a community, environmental and education-focused site run
by the charity The Bay Trust. It is tucked away above St. Margaret’s Bay near
Dover. It is a six-acre site, a living breathing experiment in sustainable organic
gardening, permaculture and chalk landscape management. It has a lake, a
grass labyrinth and hügelkultur beds growing food crops and edible flowers.
Sussex Wildlife Trust is a nature conservation charity for everyone in Sussex. For over 65 years, the charity’s, members volunteers and supporters have been working to protect this county’s intriguing environments and wonderful wildlife, creating space for nature to recover and thrive across land, waterways and sea, in cities, villages and towns.
